A neat little mom and pop shop featuring pizza and hoagies. I got a gyro platter. It had the gyro (served with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and sauce separate from the meat and pita bread) and french fries.
I don't post reviews often but wanted to give this restaurant some good publicity. Don't let the negative reviews stop you from trying this place!

Please ignore the nit-picky reviews. This place makes some incredible food. Just try the Special and tell me otherwise.
I have ordered from Nonni's every other week since March 2017. I work nights at RIDC, and it's been a struggle to find consistently good, reliable delivery. My usual order is a Nonni's special (MUST TRY) and their HOT buffalo cheese fries. I have yet to be disappointed in their quality, consistency, and delivery.
Bring a group, they have cool table to seat a bunch of people together.
Nonni's was great! I was happy that all of the negative reviews were false. We ordered 1 hour before the restaurant closed and had no problems with the service. Nonni's is 5 miles from us but they still delivered! Wow. The steak hoagie, drink, fried mushrooms, and dessert cost barely $20. The gentleman who made the delivery was very prompt and kind. Our order arrived within 40 minutes and the gentleman thanked me several times for his tip.
I have been a customer of Nonni's since he opened. I even ordered from the previous shop that was there before Nonni's. This place has the best pizza in the area. The sauce, both red and white, are great. Not spicy and not too sweet. The cheese is always the melty goodness that you want for a pizza. The topping selection is great as well. Just looking at the menu is not enough. You need to taste it to be the judge. I've ordered pizza, wings, gyros, hoagies, wedges, calzones, strombolis, desserts, and various apps. It is very hard to choose a favorite item. Even if I have any issues with the order, the owner will do what he can to get the order corrected. This is a great place and T is awesome! He will put a smile on your face. Just give it a try!!
Some of these reviews seemed downright cruel. However, I ordered tonight to find out the truth. And what I learned was that they serve very cheap pizza, with decent french fries. And you definitely get what you pay for. The pizza was fresh enough, but nobody had seasoned it. Pretty much dumped everything on I think and sent it off. But I didn't mind because it was under 10 bucks and I have plenty of herbs and garlic at home. Keep in mind they will also charge you extra if you want ketchup with your fries ) I was shocked. Considering that it's pretty cheap. And if you want garlic butter with your pizza they will charge you for that too. So basically guys? If you want inexpensive pizza and you're not interested in anything special. This is just fine. However, if you want really good pizza and all the bells and whistles. Go somewhere more expensive. Because I probably will next time.
The shop was comfortable and clean. They're right on the main street through Blawnox off Pa. Rte. 28 a few miles north of Pittsburgh, Pa.
